इस लॉकडाउन में अचानक रिवर्स माइग्रेशन के बढ़ने से गरीबी से जूझ रहे लाखों मजदूरों को गर्मी के महीने में अपने सिर पर गठरी और बच्चों को लेकर हाईवे पर चलने को मजबूर होना पड़ा तो आज पूरा सरकारी तंत्र लाचार नजर आ रहा है। उनके लाखों-करोड़ों के अनुदान की घोषणा बिल्कुल निरर्थक लगती है। यहाँ हालात से त्रस्त लोग महामारी और गरीबी का सामना एक साथ कर रहे हैं। चरमराती भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में रोज कमाने-खाने वालों की नींदें ही नहीं उड़ी, आँसू भी सूख गए। उन्हें रोटी तो कहीं भी मिल जाएगी, दुख इस बात का है कि आज उनके स्वप्निल भविष्य का ठिकाना छीन गया है। अब ना वो घर के रहे, ना घाट के।
In this lockdown, the sudden rise of reverse migration forced the millions of poverty ridden labourers to walk on highway by carrying the bundle of essentials and children on their heads during month of summer. Then the entire government system is seen to be helpless today. The announcement of grant of billions to them seems absolutely meaningless. Here, people plagued by the circumstances are suffering the epidemic and poverty together. In tumbling Indian economy, the daily wage earners have not just lost their sleep, their tears have also dried up. They will get foods anywhere, but sadly whereabouts of their golden future has been taken away in lockdown. Today, they have lost their long earned social respect.
