सड़कों और गलियों में पशुओं के रक्त की धारायें हर साल बकरईद के दिन बहती है। इसके साथ ही वहां मारे गए जानवरों के बचे हुए हिस्सों से उत्पन्न गंदगी सप्ताह तक दुर्गन्ध मचाते रहते हैं और उनकी भटकती आत्मा महीनो तक मनहूसियत बयान करती है। यह सब करते हुए, पढ़े-लिखे मुसलमान ईदमुबारक कह कर एक दूसरे के साथ ग्रीटिंगस कैसे शेयर कर सकते हैं? चलो ये मान ले कि उंन्होंने अपने पारम्परिक धर्म को अपने जानवर-खाने के आदत के अनुरूप कर लिया पर, उनकी सारी शिक्षा का देहांत, बकरीद के दिन ही क्यों हो जाता है? ईद अपना असली अर्थ तभी ला सकता हैं जब आप अपने आदिम इस्लाम के नाम पर जानवरों की हत्या बंद करें।

All this while, How come educated Muslims can share greetings with each other by saying Eid Mubarak? Let us, assume, that people customized traditional religion along with their animal-eating habits but, why they kill their conscience on Bakrid? Eid can bring it’s real meaning only when you stop killing animals to display the Islam in its primitiveness and also, encourage other people to have a peaceful and crueltyfree festival.
